General Introduction

There are four specialized groups:

• Thermal Process Control Group (Chair for Thermal Process Control). Comprising experts in thermal processes and control.
• Chemical Process Control Group (Chair for Chemical Process Control). Comprising experts in chemical processes and control.
• Production Process Control Group (Chair for Production Process Control). Comprising experts in optimization, mechanical engineering, and control.
• Building and Office Automation Group (Chair for Building and Office Automation). Comprising experts in civil construction, ventilation, lighting, and control.

Mission:

Responsible for the research and development of systems and control methods for static industrial processes, as well as automation methods and equipment for manufacturing enterprises.

Specifically:

• Research modeling and control methods for thermal processes, chemical processes, material processes, and biological and biomedical processes.

• Study industrial communication methods and architectures, and distributed control system structures.

• Research modeling and control strategies for production processes.

• Design and develop equipment, hardware, and software for controlling the above-mentioned processes and systems.
